The tourists are a little fearful of departing their bus, that has been surrounded by the youth, who are eagerly busking their olive spread. One of the travellers encourage them with this song. It features as soloist, Leslie Powers, who is blessed with a wonderful, truthful voice. When you hear a voice with this much sincerity in it’s tone and inflections, you believe the message in the lyrics. This is especially useful in a church, for obvious reasons.
One thing is Clear
One time a sailor rowed hard as a storm rocked the sea He felt the terror of no other moments for him to be He sought for hope of a calm He prayed for days to belong To what should have meant to be One time a traveller was parched with no water close by She felt the terror of no other moments to laugh or cry She fought for faith in a chance Fortune in her circumstance A way that for all she'd try We know in truth, one thing is clear: There's nothing to fear, except for our fear Strength in us dwells beyond ourselves Reach for this All Times have been changing but love lasts beyond realms of time You can be certain, our Rock is this Truth and it's yours and mine Faith in what we can all do Courage to see things anew Let us reach forth and renew, with strength in this Love Divine We have heard angels, through shepherds who told of their song Glory will dwell with the peace to whom all in God's love are strong This must be true with us now Paths to move forward allow Us to make this solemn vow: One way to be sure and strong We know in truth, one thing is clear: There's nothing to fear, except for our fear Strength in us dwells beyond ourselves Reach for this All Written by David A.
