Love You)
Our
2 teens have been on Facebook with their cousins and friends since this
past summer. Our son, Lliam,
asked if he could sign me up and create a page and before long, he'd
found and contacted a bunch of my friends on Facebook and they were on
my page! It was such a joy to get these emails and seeing the message
of someone else accepting me as a friend. Looking at their
photos reminded me of how important friends are, and how many friends
we've been blessed with in our lives. To all of our friends, and to all
of you Facebook, Twitter, MSN and other 'connect with friends' user
groups, as well as for all of you with great memories of moments and
times with friends, this song is for you! The run-away
"Frankie" in MonsterMusical
(It's Tough Being a Monster) realizes the same
thing,
which gives him the courage to overcome his greatest fear. Vocals are

I Just Can't Help
Falling For You
I've
been extremely fortunate to have been married for 17 years to a
wonderful person, Anca, to whom this song is dedicated. We have been so
lucky to have met and known some senior couples, including my parents
who this year will celebrate their 62nd wedding anniversary, who have shown
such respectful and growing love in their relationship with each
other. I wanted to write a romantic song about
a love that keeps growing and growing through time.

Here As Part
of All Creation
This
song is from the dramatized Oratorio "Promised Land". One
fall day, when we were about to leave a farm we were visiting, I had a
deep and sudden feeling of appreciation for being part of all creation.
The music and words came while driving home and there was such joy in
our family recording the music together. We hope that you, as well,
celebrate that you're part of all creation!

Starlight Two
This
is a piece of music that was inspired, in part, by the carol, "Joy to
the World". It was recorded in 1983 and digitaly remastered recently.
This song is also the title song from a book of piano studies that I
wrote that same year, which we hope to have available here over the
next few weeks. The cello
on this recording is beautifully played by Mark Russom.

Any Other Way
This
melody and the beat came from a song I wrote for our daughter, Shaelah,
to sing this past summer. The words were added recently and this music
was included in MonsterMusical
(It's Tough Being a Monster). The words are
about
overcoming a fear of some scarey things as we grow a bit
older. We hope that you like the sound effects!

What I Want
the Most at Christmas Time
I'd
had this music in my head for many years that seemed to play again when
things were really busy. This was often the case around Christmas time,
when there is so much going on! This song is included in the musical, "Nick's
Christmas Gift"

Get the Bean
We'd
become aware of the issue of fair trade coffee through a few articles
and a very informing documentary that we watched. When The Presbyterian Record
magazine ran an excellent article on Fair Trade, it
included a contest challenge to write someting to promote Fair Trade Coffee.
The song won 1st place
in the national contest and our church got free fair trade coffee for a
year! The melody is from a song from the oratorio, "Promised Land",
which will soon be featured on nu2ns!

Somehow

solo piano recording. This selection was recorded as a
parting recording on a sweet Yamaha piano that I've used for about the
past 4 years. This piano is currently for sale , in
part as a means of promotiing our site. If you're looking for an
excellent piano with some interesting recording credits in it's past,
check it out! The piano's harmonics have supported many composing ideas
and this piano was used in some of the recordings for the musical One Way. You can
