MUSIC and MUSICALS -
New
to our site is the Winter
Songs page, where you'll find arrangements for many of your
favourites. Songs that are sometimes associated with Christmas were
actually intended for the season of Ephiphany, which we are now in.
Also featured is our New
Year's postcard page, with artwork by the Buckley family as well
as our new song "O Come, Emmanuel." You could always send a link of
this out to your friends!
On
our "Friends" page,
you'll find quotes about friends and
the lyrics to our featured song, "Somehow
(Friends Who Will Always Love
You)". You
could always capture and paste all or part of this page and send it to
your e-mail or facebook friends!
Also
on our site now is our Podcast page, currently featuring music from the

LESSONS -
If
you are interested in developing your skills by playing an
instrument, we offer encouraging music lessons
in
Hamilton and Grimsby with the West
Lincoln Conservatory, as well as on-line
Lessons to
students worldwide. We have been offering
private
music lessons in Grimsby since
1982
and have been privileged to have taught thousands of
students from this area. There are many methods available for all ages
in
lots of different styles and instruments. Former
students at the West Lincoln Conservatory include Dr.
Gayle Sherwood (musicology professor), Jake Thomas
(producer, son of
Ian Thomas - a well known singer, songwriter and author), Adam Goddard
(composer for many CBC productions and former winner of the Europe
Broadcast Composer of the Year Award),
and Robert Bruce
(composer and organist at St. Mary's Cathedral,
Hamilton).
Resources
for instruction are drawn from a number of methods and
publications, including resources from the Toronto Royal Conservatory
of Music, Berklee Press (Jazz, Pop and Rock methods)
and a number of popular
methods
available for all ages.
